Scaly Fishes - New species
Sometimes you come across a really good idea/pattern and this was one of them. Take your ordinary piece of sheet copper and add some texture. So I've added in scales to the fish sides & top and different designs of the top, pectoral fins & tail. All copper & brass, all hand made by ME!
Catch of the Day
Recently caught on Fay Slough located in Humboldt county, U.S.A. Of course I had the proper license & met all size requirements & didn't exceed my limit.
Copper scaly fish
Who says fish can't have fun, you've got "Top Hat" & a fish with just a mustache.
Top Hat - Copper fish guru
Interesting shot on this one, Top Hat recently completed to include a clear coat of clear paint. Behind him to aft right fish has been readied for paint to include all sanding of rough edges. Front bottom right is the fish of the day still pending the grinder on his pectoral fins, sanding and then paint.
Top Hat
Up close and personal, didn't notice the carved in stash was a bit different on each side, that's what makes these "one of a kind, no two are alike".
In your face!
Both size fish will fit into the palm of my hand, all hang from fishing line and will go nicely in just about any home setting you may choose. Recommend having more than just one, one can't swim with a school of one right?
Freshly made hot off the torch!
Work area of my desk if you will, fire brick to with stand 3000 degrees of hot flame, torch on! Fish price ranges from $90-150 USD.
